Instructors recognised for service

In a small ceremony during the Australian Maritime Safety Authority's Rescue Coordination Centre briefing on Tuesday 19 January, two contracted Pilots Instructors were recognised for their long years of dedicated service to search and rescue. Richard Welbon from Esperance and Peter Graham from Brisbane have both been providing pilot instruction for fixed wing search contracted operators for many years.

While being unable to attend Tuesday's ceremony, fellow instructor, Ralph Schwertner from Tasair in Hobart, was also recognised for his years of service.
