An educational resource kit on the prevention of and response to pollution from ships

The kit is free to schools, libraries and community groups.

Managing the Risk: Video (12 minutes) with information on the National Plan to Combat Pollution of the Sea by Oil and Other Noxious and Hazardous Substances and shows a simulated exercise to respond to an oil spill. There is no copyright on the video.

Oil Spill Clean-up Simulation Game

A computer simulation game on oil spill clean up. Several scenarios are presented and students need to choose options to clean up the spill. Also provides associated information on environmental and shipping issues. (CD-ROM WIN)
