STCW Certificate of Competency Courses, Proficiency as Integrated Rating & Certificate as Rating
Below are the current AMSA approved courses available to applicants (Deck Officers, Engineer Officers and Ratings) wishing to qualify for a certificate in accordance with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978, as amended, (STCW).
To qualify for a STCW certificate applicants are to satisfactorily complete the relevant course below AND are also required to complete additional STCW short courses, comply with qualifying sea service and medical fitness requirements and pass an AMSA oral examination.
AMSA does not endorse or promote specific colleges or courses.
