MT05 - AMSA Course Approval Fees
The fee's for approving and auditing AMSA approved courses may be found here.
Applicants should contact AMSA for an estimate of the cost before making a submission. AMSA will not commence any work on the submission until payment is received. It should also be noted that AMSA reserves the right to request additional funds should the submission be complex and require extra work.
Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s) should refer to the AMSA guidance note before making a submission: AMSA Approval - STCW Certificate of Competency and Short Course.
All RTO’s are strongly encouraged to review the relevant IMO STCW model courses and align their submission with them, cross-referenced to the Transport & Logistics Industry Skills Council TDM(07) Training package. This will assist with the approval process and reduce unnecessary costs and time delays to the training provider.
Payment Methods
- By bank draft/cheque made payable to the Australian Maritime Safety Authority. Please write the MTO’s name and reason for payment on the back of bank draft / cheque.
