Australian Maritime Safety Authority
in association with
the Australian Shipowners Association,
Shipping Australia Limited,
and the Association of Australian Ports and Marine Authorities.

Australian Maritime Safety Authority
AMSA is a regulatory safety agency whose role includes delivery of services to Australia in maritime safety, search and rescue and protection of the marine environment from ship sourced pollution.

Australian Shipowners Association
ASA aims to foster the growth of a cost effective
Australian merchant marine. Through its lobbying, research and representative
functions, the Association is primarily concerned with doing everything
practicable to increase the competitiveness and quality of operations
of owners and operators of Australian controlled international shipping
and Australian coastal shipping and acts as a focal point of contact
for the Australian shipping industry with governments and regulatory
authorities, the trade union movement, international organisations,
the shipping industry and other economic sectors and the community
generally.

Shipping Australia Limited
The major focus of Shipping Australia, as a peak industry body, is both to promote and advance the interests of ship owners and shipping agents in all matters of shipping policy and safe environmentally sustainable ship operations. Shipping Australia’s members cover many of the major Australian and international ship owners, operators and agency companies involved in bulk, tanker, general cargo shipping, container, passenger and tramp trades.
