Visas
All travellers to Australia, other than Australian and New Zealand citizens, are required to obtain a Visa to travel to Australia.
The Business Visa allows people attending conferences and meetings in Australia to make a short visit of up to three months.
Australia's Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is the world's most advanced and streamlined travel authorisation system. If your country has ETA Business Access, you can obtain authority to enter Australia at the same time as you book your travel arrangements. There is no need to complete an application form for a Visa. In addition, a recent innovative enhancement to ETA arrangements allows a traveller to apply for an ETA over the Internet through www.dima.gov.au.
Partner's Program
While we are not offering an organised partner's program this year, within close proximity to Melbourne lies a diverse range of great Australian experiences for business visitors to enjoy - wineries, temperate rainforests, rugged coastlines, surf beaches, snowfields, deserts, wildlife reserves and historic goldmining towns. Your hotel will be only to happy to make arrangements for your partner to enjoy the sights and sounds of Melbourne and its surrounds.
Partners are most welcome to attend the social functions. Please refer to the registration page for costings.
Conference Dinner
The conference
dinner is to be held on Thursday night 19 February 2004 at the Plaza Ballroom.
The Plaza Ballroom is the jewel in the crown of the Marriner Theatre properties. Part of the opulent Regent Theatre on Collins Street, it is where history meets with the demands of a modern day event.
After meticulous restoration, the magnificent Plaza Ballroom, with its Spanish Rococo architecture, has established itself as the most sought after function space in Melbourne. Opened in 1929, today the Plaza brings together the highest quality culinary experience amongst a setting that is unmatched in history, grandeur and ambience.
