The Australian Maritime Safety Authority takes great pleasure in hosting the 2nd Meeting of the International Hydrographic Organization's World-Wide Navigational Warning Service Sub-Committee, in Sydney, Australia 9 - 13 August 2010.

To assist attendees in planning for this meeting, the following information is provided. Attendees are asked to indicate their interest by registering with the Coordinator via email, Updates regarding the meeting will be published here and via email bulletin.

Papers and documents for the meeting will be published on the WWNWS SC website here.

Venue

Australian National Maritime Museum

The meeting will be held at the Terrace Room, Australian National Maritime Museum, in Darling Harbour.

Darling Harbour is at the centre of Sydney's Entertainment & Leisure district, with Star City Casino, major International hotels, shopping and restaurants all within walking distance of the meeting venue.

Light rail passes for the Monorail can be purchased to make getting around Sydney easier.

 

Places to Stay

AMSA has negotiated package deals with three major hotels within the Darling Harbour area.

Bookings can be made through the Coordinator or separately.

 

Activities

During the week, a number of activities have been scheduled, participation is not compulsory and guests will be welcomed.
