Procedure

    1. Each yacht owner should make applications for two temporary passes: one for the outgoing voyage, another for the return.
    2. The applications and fees ($155 x 2) should be forwarded direct to the Shipping Registration Office
    3. The race organiser should arrange for the Australian Yachting Federation to provide a confirmatory letter to the Shipping Registration Office.

It may be convenient for the race organiser to collect the applications, fees and the Australian Yachting Federation letter and forward them in a batch to the Shipping Registration Office.

Registered yachts will not need Temporary Passes. However owners of registered yachts should ensure that their ownership is registered and that they have the yachts Registration Certificate. The Shipping Registration office can provide forms for the transfer of ownership and the granting of replacement Certificates if needs be. The Office can also provide details of the AUSREP system.
