AUSREP new arrangements

Changes to AUSREP Inmarsat-C reporting

With the amalgamation of XANTIC into STRATOS, the POR and IOR codes 222 and 322 have been discontinued. Ships should now send AUSREP messages using POR 212 or IOR 312 and SAC code 1243.

Use of SAC 1243 remains free if using POR 212 or IOR 312.

Under Australian regulations, Masters should make their ships available for polling. Where this is not possible, Masters should send position reports each day at a convenient time between 2200 UTC and 0800 UTC. The maximum time between any two reports is not to exceed 24 hour. Reason for not polling should be included in the PR comments.
