Communicating with REEFVTS
Ships can communicate with REEFVTS by:
- Inmarsat-C - messages sent to REEFVTS will be reverse charged if ships use special access code 861 via the Perth LES (222) in the Pacific Ocean Region.
- VHF Radio – Depending on the ships position, ships can call REEFVTS 24 hours a day on VHF channels 5,18 or 19. Refer to the REEFVTS User Manual for further details
