Sydney is a lively city offering an abundance of live music, museums and theatres, not to mention creative and performing arts in and around the city plus the many concerts held at large scale venues. It’s famous for its fine dining, fashion and night life scene. The well known Oxford Street is a hub of fashionable cafes and boutiques where you can grab a coffee and watch the world go by. There are many popular entertainment precincts with restaurants, pubs and clubs such as those lining the wharf of Darling Harbour and the famous Rocks area is a must see and not to mention the Chinatown district is a bustle of activity among its many restaurants and cultural backdrop.
Shopping
Sydney has a number of major shopping centres plus many boutique and speciality stores in the surrounding suburbs of the CBD. There are also the well known “Paddy’s Markets” within walking distance located in the Chinatown precinct which provide a lively hub of retail shopping and fresh produce markets. The city centre has major department stores and centres providing consumers with a large choice of retailers and services. Suburbs like Bondi Junction and Chatswood also have major shopping centres, providing facilities and services which are accessible via public transport or car.
