The 2019 version of the National Plan for maritime environmental emergencies is now available.
In operation since 1973, the National Plan has been characterised by willing and effective cooperation between governments and industries, and has provided both timely and effective response to actual pollution incidents. This document recognises the need to develop and maintain a shared responsibility; and the commitment of all stakeholders in order to continue to provide timely and effective response, including making available equipment and trained personnel as and when needed, both domestically and internationally.
