We have released some new safety guidance for commercial parasailing operators.
Parasailing vessels are considered domestic commercial vessels under the National law. This information is to assist you comply with your general safety duties.
Parasailing operations are required to have:
- certificate of operation
- safety management system that complies with the requirements in Marine order 504
- certificate of survey
- is operated by persons holding an appropriate certificate of competency as per Marine Order 505.
