General Manager of Operations and Executive Sponsor of the Diversity Working Group Allan Schwartz, says diverse and inclusive workplaces are happier, more engaged and innovative, and more supportive.

'These workplaces are also better at coming up with new and better ways of doing things, and harnessing technology more effectively to improve services,' he said.

'It's essential that we continue to prioritise diversity and promote inclusion in our organisation to build on and improve the way we deliver services to the Australian and international communities we work for.'

The plan outlines a variety of initiatives to increase representation of underrepresented groups, retain emerging talent and job knowledge, and ensure an inclusive work environment.
