Our new website
You can find common tasks that you perform from the home page—for example report pollution or update a qualification. You can also find content based on who you are and what you do—if you are a fisherman, naval architect or another audience type, scroll to our audience section on the bottom right side of our home page and find your audience page.
We worked closely with people from across the maritime industry to understand how they use and interact with our website—and we used these findings to inform the new design. Our form finder allows you to find the form that you need by using the number or title.
The content has been refreshed and rewritten in plain English. There is more white space, less technical terms, simpler punctuation and styles. Information at the top of each page lets you know where you are.
Our new website is mobile friendly and works on devices of all sizes. It has improved search functionality and a prominent search bar on every page to make it easier to find what you are looking for.
There is still work to be done and we will continue to improve the website. Please give us your feedback—found at the bottom of each page—so we can continue to improve the site.
