We look at AMSA’s work to ensure emerging autonomous and remotely controlled vessels in Australia can operate safely. We also feature Paradigm Training’s use of technology in training and assessment and follow the build, delivery and maiden voyage of three new transfer vessels commissioned to boost tourism to Norfolk Island.

Innovation can be as simple as a new approach using existing resources. Mike Keyte’s approach to increasing safety starting with crew induction is a great example.
