Engaging with the search and rescue community

We work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders on a national and domestic level and on a regional and international level for the further development of the Australian SAR system.

Our engagement initiatives

As well as providing a SAR service for Australia, we are highly invested in engagement initiatives on domestic, national, regional and international levels.

Our engagement initiatives serve to:

strengthen the SAR system by consulting with government and non-government agencies
improve the safety education and capability of areas that experience high levels of SAR activity
establish safety programs in remote areas of Australia
strengthen regional relationships and their SAR capability and training.
