Before making a submission, Registered training organisations should align their submission with the following:
- Evaluations—STCW certificate of competency/proficiency and short courses—MT04
- AMSA approval of all STCW courses provided by Registered training organisations—MT05
- International Maritime Organization International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), and the STCW Code
- Relevant International Maritime Organization Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) IMO model courses
- Australian Industry Skills (AIS) Maritime Training Package
This will assist with our approval process and reduce unnecessary costs and time delays to the training provider.

Registered training organisations should contact us for an estimate of the cost before making a submission.
We will invoice you when we receive your submission and will not commence any work until payment is received. We may request additional funds if the submission is complex and requires extra work.
