As the Competent Authority, we participate internationally in the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA) VTS Committee and at IMO, thereby ensuring that we work with other authorities to harmonise and improve VTS globally. The VTS advisory group contributes to our national position on issues discussed and decided at the IMO and IALA.
