Engaging with the search and rescue community

We engage with national, domestic, regional and international stakeholders to develop a best practice Australian search and rescue (SAR) system.

We work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders on a national and domestic level and on a regional and international level for the further development of the Australian SAR system.

Our engagement initiatives

As well as providing a SAR service for Australia, we are highly invested in engagement initiatives on domestic, national, regional and international levels.

Our engagement initiatives serve to:

  • strengthen the SAR system by consulting with government and non-government agencies
  • improve the safety education and capability of areas that experience high levels of SAR activity
  • establish safety programs in remote areas of Australia
  • strengthen regional relationships and their SAR capability and training.
