Strategic workforce plan 2018-21
Our Strategic workforce plan is a key support for our Corporate plan. Specifically, it is one of the main enablers for our response to the strategic challenge of 'ensuring a vibrant and progressive organisation'. In addition to this, our people are the key to how AMSA will respond to the other strategic challenges we face, whether they be growth in our environment, technological developments or regulatory change.
The strategic workforce plan identifies a number of priority areas for our workforce over the next three years, and outlines the people related initiatives we will put in place to ensure we are equipped to deliver on our objectives into the future.
The strategic workforce plan recognises that our executive and senior managers will play a critical role in developing the workforce of the future, through effective leadership that actively engages our people. To support our leaders in this role, it is important that we have the right mix of employees, in a range of locations where there is operational demand―with appropriate skills and capabilities to deliver on our expectations for the future.
