Safety first in marine spill response video

We promote safety in marine pollution response through the National Plan for Maritime Environmental Emergencies (National Plan).

One of the primary aims of the National Plan has been to promote a safe and healthy work environment for spill response personnel and the public that protects them from injury and illness.

A key aspect of any work, health and safety program is the provision of information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure employees’ health and safety at work.

The National Plan has produced this video to provide information and training to minimise potential injury and illness to personnel involved in spill response.

Safety First in Marine Spill Response looks at work health and safety issues for all response personnel.
