We have extended the duration of some AMSA issued certificates that expire in the period between 26 March 2020 and 31 January 2021.

Cases of the COVID-19 virus are increasing in Australia and the situation is changing rapidly.

The Department of Health is leading the whole of government response to COVID-19 and they have issued a COVID-19 information for the maritime industry . 

We remain open for business and continue to provide regulatory services to our customers and the wider community. 

Although our regional offices are temporarily closed to limit face-to-face interactions with our customers you can still interact with us by email and phone. 

We are also committed to reducing the regulatory burden on Australian and international maritime industries  

We have a number of exemptions that may assist during this time and are working with industry on a case by case basis.
