Working boats issue 15 is now available

Tuesday 30 April 2019
Safety, sustainability and environment.

Working Boats is a quarterly magazine about Australia’s commercial maritime industry.

The April 2019 issue of Working Boats [1] focuses on your livelihood—looking after your people, boats and the source of your income—with a particular focus on safety, sustainability and environment.

This edition we talk to a host of operators around Australia. Wildcatch Fishing and Blue Riviera Boat Hire tell us how they make their maintenance systems work for them; and Pro Dive Lord Howe Island and Lake Argyle Cruises give us a glimpse of what it’s like to operate in a remote location.

Little Ferry Co talks going electric, Smit Lamnalco shares their top risks and how they mitigate them, and Adelaide River Cruises talks about they manage safety in their croc-jumping operation.

Printed copies Working Boats magazine will be available from local AMSA office [2] from 30 April.
