About 

Marine order 16 implements the international standards for vessel load lines including:

  • requirements of and compliance with the load lines convention
  • marking of vessels
  • circumstances when a vessel is overloaded
  • entries required in the official logbook of a regulated Australian vessels.

Marine order 507 sets out load line requirements for domestic commercial vessels.
