This certificate is issued under Marine Order 70 (Seafarer certification) 2014 and Marine Order 71 (Masters and deck officers) 2014, made under the Navigation Act 2012.
What will this certificate allow me to do?
This certificate allows you to perform radio operator duties and functions on an Australian registered vessel.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for a Global maritime distress and safety systems radio operator's restricted certificate of recognition (GMDSS RCOR) you must meet sea service and course requirements.
