We provide a range of geographic information as digital maps and spatial data sets. This visual geographic data is used to support search and rescue, pollution response, vessel tracking, and navigation in Australian waters. Some data access may require you to pay a fee.
The portal allows you to:
- discover and download data sets and map products through our Spatial Data Centre
- request customised products and spatial analysis from our geographic information systems team.

Spatial data centre
Our spatial data centre provides you with access to a range of data including:
- historic vessel tracking information
- positional information for our aids to vessel navigation network
- boundaries for Australia’s search and rescue region.
