The NRIP is a data management system which stores data required by industry stakeholders, including TAFEs, training organisations, and Commonwealth, state and territory marine safety agencies and regulators. NRIP is used by stakeholders to share data about maritime issues.
This system allows agencies to easily share large files of data and transfer information between jurisdictions.
