Interferry is an international shipping association representing the ferry sector. It has more than 260 member companies, representing more than 1,000 individuals from over 40 countries. Interferry has been in operation for over 46 years, and this year’s conference marks the 47th event. The global ferry sector consists over 15,400 ferries with a combine gross tonnage of 31 million tonnes. It supports 1.1 million jobs through direct and supply chain employment worldwide.
AMSA actively supports the Australian ferry industry by ensuring the safety and security of passengers, crew, cargo and ships. We look forward to meeting with national and international stakeholder at the Interferry event, and to hearing about the issues that are important to them.
