AMSA seeks public assistance in search for missing aircraft

AMSA’s Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) is currently coordinating a search for a missing light aircraft which is overdue on a flight from The Oaks, near Sydney to Pooncarie, NSW.

The aircraft was due to arrive at Pooncarie during Friday afternoon.
The current primary search area focus is between Temora and Pooncarie.
Anyone who saw or heard a light aircraft between Temora and Pooncarie, including the Griffith, Hay, Booligal, Hillston and Lake Mungo districts, and any pilots who were flying in the area Friday afternoon, are requested to contact the RCC urgently on 1800 815 257.
