For owners, operators and crew of domestic commercial vessels who want to improve and build on their safety management system.
The workshops will focus on applying a practical and practiced SMS and improving your system so it continues to keep your vessel, crew and the environment safe.
Participants will learn about:
- Simple principles for a successful SMS-vessel operations, people and procedures.
- Safety requirements under Marine Order 504 (Certificates of operation and operation requirements-national law).
- How to review, revise and continue to improve your SMS.
- Assessing and managing risks.
You will also have an opportunity to discuss and ask questions about your own SMS with an AMSA representative.
