The Australian Seafarers’ Welfare Council (ASWC) aims to ensure the adequacy of existing welfare facilities and to assist in coordination of port/regional welfare committees.
The Council consists of members from both national and local organisations that contribute to the welfare of seafarers.
ASWC members work together towards their vision of “The provision of appropriate welfare services for all seafarers visiting Australian Ports”.
