Web accessibility

We want everyone to be able to access and use our websites.

Our websites

AMSA manages these websites:

We’ve designed our websites to meet the Australian Government standard for web accessibility. Our websites aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.

When we create content we also follow the Australian Government Style Manual. This includes guidance on accessibility and inclusive language.

Improving accessibility

We regularly review and improve the accessibility of our websites by:

  • checking content and functionality for accessibility issues
  • fixing problems we identify
  • training our teams in accessible content and design
  • updating our systems and tools to support accessibility by default.

Accessible formats

We aim to provide content in HTML format whenever possible.

Some documents and forms are only available as PDFs or other formats. We know this can be difficult for some people.

If you need help accessing a PDF or would like content in a different format, contact us
