Who can make a report
Anyone can make a confidential report.
If you’re a current AMSA employee, you should read our internal guidance on reporting before you submit a disclosure.
How to report fraud or wrongdoing
If you suspect fraud or wrongdoing at AMSA, you can report it using the Yourcall whistleblowing service.
- Online: Yourcall webform
- Phone: 1300 790 228 (7am to midnight, 7 days a week)
Yourcall is a secure and independent third-party reporting service. They work with us to make sure your concerns are captured and responded to quickly.
When you submit your report, you can choose to stay anonymous, use a pseudonym or share your name.
What happens next
After you submit your report through Yourcall:
- You will receive a unique disclosure number to track your report or add more information later.
- AMSA’s Authorised Officers are notified and review your report. They will decide how to follow up on your report.
- You’ll receive a response explaining how your concerns will be handled and what’s expected from you.
You can log in anytime using your disclosure number to check for updates or new messages.
How your report is protected
Different laws apply depending on who you are and what you're reporting. These laws help protect you and guide how AMSA handles your report:
- Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013 (PID Act) – provides protections for current or former public officials who report wrongdoing in the public sector
- National Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2022 – allows anyone to report suspected serious or systemic corruption involving public officials
- Commonwealth Fraud Control Framework – sets out how AMSA handles reports of suspected fraud, but does not provide personal legal protections
All reports under the PID Act are treated confidentially and eligible disclosers are protected from reprisal.
