Surveyors recommendation to the national regulator
Overview
Surveyors can use this form to make a recommendation after conduction:
- an initial survey of a new domestic commercial vessel
- an initial survey relating to modifications to an existing vessel
- a commissioning, periodic, or out of water survey of a vessel.
The form must be used if you are submitting your recommendation by post. It is not mandatory if you are submitting your recommendation in MARS. Read the MARS user guide.
If you are using this form or a MARS submission instead of Survey report and recommendation form 901 for a commissioning, periodic, or out of water survey, your supporting documentation must contain at least the same information as the survey report and recommendation form.
Submitting the form
If used, the completed form must be retained by the surveyor for their records.
