Overview
Marine order 503 includes a power that permits AMSA to approve alternate forms of survey. You can use this form to make an application for an alternate survey process under Marine Order 503 (Certificates of survey – national law).
This power allows AMSA to approve specific survey processes, on a case by case basis.
Eligibility criteria
To apply for an alternate survey process, complete form AMSA 1854 and attach all relevant supporting calculations or documents.
Submitting the form
Applications can be emailed to dcvsurvey@amsa.gov.au.
Please note, applications cannot be processed without adequate detail being provided. Insufficient detail will slow down the processing of an application.
