Initial watertight and weathertight integrity survey report for non-load line vessels

Overview 

Surveyors can use this form to report on the watertight and weathertight integrity of a domestic commercial vessel that is not required to have a load line certificate at initial construction or alteration.

A surveyor who does not have a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001 or an equivalent management system as described in National Law - Marine Surveyors Accreditation Guidance Manual 2014 Part 2 Clause 2.9 must use either:

  • this form
  • MARS and supporting documentation containing at least the information required in this form. Read the MARS user guide.

A surveyor who does have such a quality management system may use this form.

Submitting the form 

The completed form must be retained by the surveyor for their records and a copy must be submitted to us.
