During the holiday period from 25 December until 3 January, AMSA is closed for non-essential business.
Beacons and MMSI services
The online beacon and MMSI registration system will continue to operate throughout the holiday season to enter new beacon registrations, renewals, updates and MMSI applications, however the 1800 406 406 phone line and email service will be closed between 27 December and 3 January.
Certificates and exemptions
Limited phone and email services will be available between 29 - 31 December for urgent assistance with applications for:
- exemptions
- certificates of survey, and
- certificates of operation.
AMSA Response Centre
The AMSA Response Centre will continue to operate throughout this period, providing search and rescue services.
