Ensuring good mental health is not merely a matter for the individual. It's your responsibility to protect the mental health and wellbeing of your crew.

By looking after your crew's wellbeing, your operation will run more effectively, and you will retain happier, productive and more dedicated employees.

An important aspect linked to a supportive organisational environment is job resources. 

For example, positive higher level interactions with supervisors have been shown to provide a supportive environment. These interactions influence seafarers' beliefs concerning the extent to which the organisation they work for values their contributions and cares about their well-being.
