Across Australia and New Zealand, people are wearing their lifejackets to work today. This is to recognise the National Safe Boating week 2022 theme of 'Lifejackets save lives'.
Today's lifejackets come in many different styles and are far more comfortable than they used to be. The days of lifejackets being bulky, uncomfortable and hindering movement are gone.
In an effort to show how easy it to wear a lifejacket all day, you can join in Wear Your Lifejacket to Work Day. Because if you can wear your lifejacket at work, you can wear it on the water where your lifejacket can save your life.
Lifejackets save lives - it's as simple as that.
