For vessels required to use garbage record books, please note that they need to be in the new format from 1 March 2018.
The old format of the book should no longer be used-all garbage record books purchased from our website or local offices are now in the new format. The new garbage record books cost $4 and can be ordered by using our publications order form.
Garbage record books are mandatory for vessels of 400 gross tonnage and above, vessels certified to carry 15 or more people engaged in international voyages, and fixed or floating platforms.
