During February 2025, there were 101 reported marine incidents involving domestic commercial vessels. Of these, 12 were serious and one was very serious.
A vessel grounded in heavy weather and required assistance back to shore, a timber vessel grounded on a rocky shore and was unable to be salvaged, and a vessel collided with 2 other vessels after its stern propulsion failed.
