Register for our webinar: upcoming changes to fatigue risk management

Monday 10 February 2025
AMSA is running a webinar series on the new safety management system (SMS) requirements. Our first webinar is on ‘fatigue risk management’.
" "

On 1 June 2025, new fatigue risk management requirements for Class 1, 2, and 3 vessels come into effect. Join our presenters who will guide you through the key changes and offer practical advice to assist with managing the risk of fatigue.

What this webinar will cover

  • Risk assessment: Owners of Class 1, 2, and 3 vessels must identify and assess the risk of fatigue on the master and crew as part of their vessel’s risk assessment. Note: Class 4 vessels are not affected.
  • Documentation: Owners of Class 1, 2, and 3 vessels must document how these risks will be managed with a fatigue risk management plan. These plans can be tailored to the size and complexity of the operation, offering flexibility for different vessel types and business needs.
