Maritime professional development program
The program aims to strengthen relationships between maritime safety agencies in our region and assist in the transfer of skills and knowledge between participants. The two-week program is held each year during October and will provide participants with opportunities to:
- meet with technical experts to learn about Australia’s approach to PSC
- meet with participants from other international maritime organisations
- share comparative approaches on PSC and related issues.
Why train with us?
We are Australia’s national maritime safety agency. We have a long history of providing PSC training to the international maritime community, particularly in the Asia-Pacific and Indian Ocean regions. Our program recognises the importance of developing skills and sharing experiences to strengthen regional efforts to promote ship and seafarer safety, and protect the marine environment.
